2010-2011 Soccer Tryouts  May 22nd to June 4th

 

Kickers United F.C. is looking for individuals or teams to join the Fall 2010/Spring 2011 seasons, for both boys and girls from the age of 6 to 19.

 

Kickers United F.C. is a competitive traveling soccer club with teams competing at the highest levels from August to June in the (YSSL) Young Sportsmen’s Soccer League and the (IWSL) Illinois Women’s Soccer League for girls. Both leagues compete primarily with other suburban teams.

 

Kickers United F.C. and KUFC Premier Soccer Club offers:

IMPORTANT TRYOUT INFORMATION

 
  • Registration begins 30 minutes prior to the start time at the Kickers Tent

          

  • An orientation program for the parents will be conducted during the tryouts.

 

  • Players are advised to attend at least 2 sessions.

ELGIN KICKERS UNITED F. C.    PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Organize, coordinate and operate a traveling youth program of competitive soccer.
2) Develop annual goals and objectives for the Club.
3) Actively encourage good sportsmanship at all levels of competition.
4)  Actively discourage unsportsmanship like conduct toward anyone.
5)  Emphasize competitive soccer through individual development, team commitment, team play, good sportsmanship, positive attitudes, soccer fundamentals, and support of the Kickers United F. C..

The purpose of the Elgin Kickers United F.C. is to:

A) develop and promote the sport of soccer by providing financial resources and equipment, training facilities, fields, coaches and administrators for the iouth of Elgin and surrounding communities.
B) further develop interest in the knowledge of soccer for both players and spectators
C) encourage the development of good sportsmanship, skilled play & teamwork
D) organize and train youth travel teams that seek the highest level of team competition and achievement at local, state, regional, national and international levels.
E) promote an appreciation of foreign cultures by hosting teams from other countries and visiting such teams.
F) organize, conduct and encourage participation in soccer tournaments, camps and clinics.

 

ELGIN KICKERS UNITED F.C. SOCCER PROGRAMS

Never played soccer before, playing soccer for your parks & recreation team, travel team, we have a program for you.We match players with other players of the same ability to help improve everyone’s skill level.

Little Kickers is a training program for children ages 3 to 6. All sessions are run by our professional soccer coaches. Our participants will learn basic ball skills by playing small sided games and develop their skills through fun activities. The program is targeted to teach young children ages 3 to 6 the basics of soccer. This instruction includes proper foot skills, dribbling skills and small sided games.

Kickers Academy is a training program for children ages 7 to 12. All sessions are run by professional soccer coaches. Our participants will learn ball skills by playing small sided games and develop their skills through fun activities. The program is targeted to teach children ages 7 & 8, soccer through playing small sided games, ball skill training, developing coordination, and most important,while having fun.

The 9 to 12 year olds will be taught soccer through playing small side games, ball control, positional play and have fun while developing their skills. Whether your child already plays in a recreational or travel program, they will benefit from the skills development sessions provided by our coaches. These skills will benefit players regardless if they continue playing at the local level or desire to move on to the exciting and competitive world of travel soccer.

Kickers United FC Travel Soccer is a program that takes the players the next step toward becoming a competitive soccer player.Our program begins with children going into Kindergarden in the fall of 2010 and continues all the way through High School.Our goal is to provide our players with the skills to prepare them to play in High School and eventually College.We achieve this by using professional soccer coaches. Our program is designed to give the players the opportunity to compete year round, but we also provide the flexibility to our players to do other sports as well. Please see the following pages for details of how to tryout for our club and additional information about our soccer club.

Little Kickers, Kickers Academy and Kickers United FC 

Little Kickers & Kickers Academy will have:

 

•  2 sessions a week for a total of 6 weeks;

•  5:00 to 6:00 pm each Monday and Wednesday at the Elgin Sports Complex, field #9.

 

Summer Session: begins Monday, June 21st and ends July 30th;

 

Fall Session: begins Monday, September 13th and ends October 22rd;

 

Cost:

 

•  Little Kickers $100

•  Kickers Academy $125.

 

All players will receive a Kickers T-shirt.
